Purpose: The purpose of ISO 16967 is to provide standardized methods for determining the major elemental composition (Aluminum, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Silicon, Sodium, Titanium) in solid biofuels and their ashes, crucial for assessing fuel quality, ash behavior during combustion (like sintering), and identifying contamination for efficient energy conversion and utilization.
