Specific Conductance

Applicability: EPA Method 9050A, specifically designed for measuring specific conductance, is applicable to drinking, ground, surface, and saline waters, as well as domestic and industrial aqueous wastes. It is not applicable to solid samples or organic samples.

Purpose: Method 9050A is designed to quantify the amount of dissolved salts, minerals, and other ionized substances in a water sample.
