Sulfate (Turbidimetric)
Applicability: EPA Method 9038, which is the turbidimetric method for determining sulfate in samples, is applicable to a wide range of water and waste matrices. Specifically, it can be used for ground water, drinking water, surface water, and both domestic and industrial wastes. The method is suitable for all sulfate concentrations, with a minimum detectable limit of approximately 1 mg/L of SO4.
Purpose: EPA Method 9038 is designed to determine the concentration of sulfate in various water samples, including groundwater, drinking water, surface water, and industrial/domestic wastewater.
