Applicability: EN 15297 is a European standard that specifies methods for determining minor elements in solid biofuels. It covers the determination of arsenic, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, mercury, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, lead, antimony, vanadium, and zinc. The standard includes procedures for sample decomposition and suggests suitable instrumental methods for analysis. It is applicable to all solid biofuels and also provides guidance for determining other elements like selenium, tin, and thallium.
Purpose: EN 15297, which is a European Standard, outlines the method for determining the amount of minor elements in solid biofuels.
