Bulk Density of Granular Refractory Materials

Applicability: ASTM C357 is a standard test method for determining the bulk density of granular refractory materials, which are materials used in the manufacture of refractory products or sold as bulk granular materials.

Purpose: This test method covers a procedure for determining the bulk density of granular refractory materials, commercial products which usually have particles that are retained on a 0.265 in. (6.7 mm) or coarser sieve.
