SW-846 Test Method 9034: Titrimetric Procedure for Acid-Soluble and Acid-Insoluble Sulfides
Applicability: EPA Method 9034 is applicable for measuring sulfide concentrations within a range of 0.2 mg/kg to 50 mg/kg in samples. This method is part of the SW-846 series, which provides guidance on evaluating solid waste and other testing specified in regulations under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
Purpose: Method 9034 aims to quantify the amount of sulfide present in a sample, which can be either in a soluble form (like hydrogen sulfide gas) or bound in insoluble metal sulfides.
